Pregnant Mothers’ Project
Today my heart is overflowing. For more than 20 years I have been focusing my energy toward the support of pregnant mothers on the day of my Great Gurudeva, Ven. Wattegama Dhammawassa Nayake Thero’s birth.
Just like our mothers who nurtured us, and brought us to this world, all these mothers have my deepest respect and love. The Buddha had a mother, you have a mother, we all have them, and we share this earth as our common mother.
To protect our prosperous and healthy future, we have to love and honor our mothers. We are doing a small part of this effort today by offering essential goods and items for babies to 300 pregnant women.
It is a blessing to conduct and be a part of. My deepest thanks goes to all my friends and supporters all over the world. You are my loving-kindness family and the merits of this effort are shared with you all.
