Homestay Mini Retreat with Bhante Sujatha on ZOOM! “Put Your Practice Into Practice
July 16, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm CDT
“Put Your Practice Into Practice”
The Buddha taught: “Not by wearing matted hair, nor by lineage, nor by caste, does one become a brahmana; only he who realizes the Truth and the Dhamma is pure.” In this profound teaching the Buddha explains that our practice does not evolve by altering appearance or karmic inheritance alone; in order to truly grow, we have to apply what we learn, and allow our internal shifting to reflect into our speech and actions.
In this 2-hour workshop, Bhante Sujatha invites us to reflect on our inner and outer lives, instructs in how to establish and preserve your meditation practice, and take the practice from off the “cushion” and into our daily lives.
