“STOP SITTING AROUND!”
A Mindful Hike with Bhante Sujatha
We all get accustomed to our thinking mind’s perceptions of right and wrong: This is the right way; this is the wrong way…. Our spiritual practice however, teaches us to let go of some of these certainties, and discover new ways to experience mindful practice.
Many people are accustomed to the belief that meditation practice only happens while sitting on a cushion. Our minds can become conditioned in this way, and we forget that meditation is a practice for developing mindfulness for daily living.
Join Bhante Sujatha on a morning hike with mindfulness and noble friends, to shake up your practice and challenge the notions that you may or may not have adopted.
In this hike, Bhante and a group of noble friends will share time skillfully with hiking, sharing meaningful conversation, practicing stillness to experience nature, and learning to watch the steps and breaths taken along the way.
