Animal Blessing at Emricson Park

Not only are we passionate about loving kindness towards ourselves, our noble friends, family and those close to us, we express these same feelings towards our animal friends as well.

We will be meeting at Emricson Park in Woodstock, a 2 minute drive from the temple at the top of the hill overlooking the pond to perform the blessing ceremony. Even our own pets can feel the vibrations from the chanting that is performed during blessings. It is a beautiful and comforting opportunity!

We will bless one animal at a time. Please be sure that they are properly leashed/secured. We do not discriminate! Feel free to bring your dog, cat, frog, guinea pig – they are family!

The cost is $10 per family. We will need your name, the kind of pet, as well as their name upon registration.
Under “first name” please enter YOUR first and last name. Under “last name” please enter the kind of pet and THEIR name. Please email us this information if it is easier.

Your donation will go directly to the charities in Sri Lanka that are working so incredibly hard to rescue and provide food, water and shelter for the animals that are deeply neglected there due to the economic collapse. Many animals have been abandoned and sanctuaries within the country could greatly use the support and funding to help keep these sweet animals alive.
