On June 9th we offered another newly constructed house as a home for a family in need. This family is a small one of only a mother and her young son.
The Buddha said, “when you give a home to a family, you have given them everything.” If we think about what a house really means, we can understand what the Buddha said. All beings, even the birds and animals and sea creatures make some place home. A home means security, protection, which can also give freedom of mind. In the case of this small family, they do no not have many people to depend on, and need their time and energy to build their lives. With this new opportunity, I am sure that they have new hope and inspiration to do just that.
This home was donated by the Nelson Insulation Company and the Ottolino Family , D’Alesio family and Floriani family in honor of their beloved departed father.
May the merits of this act find them, their family, and create waves of merit for the benefit of the world.
