What began as small donations of medical equipment such as gloves, syringes, and simple consumables given at random times when resources were available to the maternity ward at Teaching Hospital Peradeniya has evolved into an annual program that we hope to see continue for years to come.

In 2013, donors from across the globe contributed to the purchasing of a Baby Warmer/Phototherapy unit that was donated to the ward in July.  The hospital was in serious need as the only unit they possessed was an old model that was literally hand made by a few creative specialists in Sri Lanka.  We are overjoyed to be a small part of this generous donation as it offers support to those in  need of a little extra warmth in their earliest days of their lives.  A very special thanks to all who helped to make this effort a reality.
