DESCRIPTION:Join Bhante Sujatha\, The Loving-Kindness monk\, along with Lisa Annesse for learning\, practice\, setting intentions\, and clearing the way for unconditional love for ourselves and others in an unforgettable experience this April. \nThis program begins with an\, inspiring talk by Bhante Sujatha on the benefits of creating\, refreshing\, and establishing a sturdy meditation practice in our lives in order to support the goals we set to be our best self\, followed by a guided meditation. \nDuring this event\, there will be a Tibetan bowl sound healing with Lisa Annesse. You will be able to lie down\, relax\, and go into a deep meditative state and allow your body to release and let go of emotional blocks. This sound meditation is truly an amazing experience for the body\, mind\, and soul. While you are lying down and relaxing\, the sounds and frequencies of the crystal bowls will vibrate through your body\, allowing you to let go of energy blockages. This unique experience is something that will resonate within you long after the event is over.\n \nSo Join Bhante Sujatha and joyful friends as we come together as a spiritual community to experience unconditional love’s healing power and receive well wishes as you practice nobility and peace in this life. \nProceeds from a portion of the event will go to Bhante’s Pregnant Mothers and Incubator Project in Sri Lanka \nBook signing and “Choose Loving Kindness” items will be available for purchase after the event. \nWhat to bring: \nPlease bring a yoga mat or blanket to lay on\, an extra blanket to cover up with\, a pillow for your comfort\, and water if you’d like. DESCRIPTION:I believe people are so unhappy because they try to understand what is happening out in the world and outside of themselves. \nWhat is the nature of friendship? Our friends are those who we depend on; who we look to in order to belong\, who we wish to help in their time of need\, and who we seek for comfort and counsel. We spend so much time trying to invest in our status and our relationships in order to find fulfillment\, and in doing so we frequently forget our own well-being\, or put our own selves at the bottom of our list. \nIn my experience\, whether the relationship is with a family member\, spouse\, or friend\, these still exist outside of our inner world\, and no dissatisfaction can be completely resolved from the outside. To find true peace and happiness we must start working from the inside out; we must understand our true nature and work to create peace inside ourselves. It is only when we can be a noble friend to ourselves\, that we can be a noble friend to another.
