SUMMARY:How to be your own best friend: A conversation on the practice of loving-kindness
DESCRIPTION:How to be your own best friend: A conversation on the practice of loving-kindness\nWednesday\, May 4th at 6:30pm\nWith Bhante Sujatha\nIn these times\, we strive to achieve more and we desire more than we ever have and yet our happiness and the peace we all seek continues to slip further and further away. We see the burning desire within so many people to love more deeply\, to live more fully and to find sustainable sturdy happiness.\nMany religions and wisdom teachers encourage us to cherish one another as a way to find what we’re all seeking…. however it’s clearly not working. Until we authentically learn to love ourselves and become our own best friends\, we are lost. Not yet have we seen someone find true inner peace and happiness without first loving themselves.\nThrough the very simple but not very easy practice of loving-kindness meditation we can change the destiny of humanity. When we practice loving-kindness to ourselves first we are giving a unique and powerful gift to the whole world… It’s through our self love that we love the whole world. Loving-kindness meditation when practiced with sincerity and commitment can alter your brain and change the way you see the whole world.\nWhen you change the way you see the world\, the world changes.\nPlease join Buddhist Monk Bhante Sujatha in a conversation about how to find sturdy happiness and inner peace through the practice of loving-kindness meditation.\n* Fee $40\n* Advanced registration required. Call/text 732-800-6960 or register online at bookingwithintentions.com\n* Proceeds go to Bhante’ s pregnant mother’s and Incubator Project in Sri Lanka\n* Book signing and choose loving kindness Items are available to purchase\nBhante Sujatha\, a 30+ year Buddhist Monk\, is singularly focused on adding more love in the world. SUMMARY:IN STUDIO How to Empower your Mind” an Ancient wisdom practice with Bhante Sujatha
DESCRIPTION:Buddha says “what you seek is seeking you”… perhaps it’s true.\nThe evidence of the power of our minds is undeniable.. The ancient texts of the Buddha tell us that no external condition can be the cause of our happiness\, only the mind has that ability. When people understand how they are influenced\, the root causes of struggle and what we can do with our minds to make things better\, sustainable happiness and radiant joy are the result.\nMy life as a Buddhist monk has given me a front row seat to incredible transformation within so many people as I teach them how to empower the mind and cultivate the qualities that will help you find strength and happiness\, as well as give you a burning desire to add more love to the world. When we understand our mind\, we begin to re-shape our behavior and feelings about so many things… it’s the most loving act of service one can do for themselves and the world.\n\nInvestment: $40\nProceeds go to to Bhante’s pregnant mothers and Incubator Project in Sri Lanka\nChoose loving kindness T Shirts and other items are available to purchase.\nBhante Sujatha\, a 30+ year Buddhist Monk\, is singularly focused on adding more love in the world.
